METALLURGIST

The busy modern foundry has a current capital investment programme to expand our production areas. We now wish to appoint a Metallurgist to be responsible for the control of raw materials, melting procedures and heat treatment of castings.

Applicants should have experience of making high quality steel casting to various specifications, with a hands on approach.

A knowledge of furnace charge makeup and material analysis using an ARL 3460 for stainless, high alloy and heat resisting steel castings will be required. The position would suit newly qualified graduates as full management training will be provided.
