Ever since the early years of the century when the company began making handrails for the first Birmingham tramcars, Gabriel & Company Ltd has had a long illustrious link with the passenger transport industry.

We are proud to have been an approved supplier to the railway industry for over eighty years. We are now one of the largest manufacturer in the United Kingdom of handrails, grab poles, luggage racks and similar bodywork fittings.

In recent years we have completed many majors contracts for railway operators in Europe, Asia and Africa including Eurostar, KCRC Hong Kong and various London underground projects.

Our projects have included the refurbishment of the Docklands Light Railway cars and additional rails for the Croydon Tramlink.

The company's pedigree and expertise means it still supplies the UK's leading coach, bus and minibus manufacturers.
The company has achieved some notable "firsts" in handrail design and manufacture. It was the first to produce textured grip tubing for greater passenger safety, together with the largest range of pressure die cast clamp brackets.
